AREA LINKS SPIKE

The Tomahawk Trail is 85.5 miles long.  A very useful link that requires a lot of grooming. Thank you all for your continued support!

Leaving at the Lake and Cook County border intersection with the North Shore State Trail, the Tomahawk travels four miles north to Crooked Lake to a snowmobile gathering spot, the Crooked Lake Resort & Trestle Inn. Then  onto Ely, Minnesota, travelling through the Superior National Forest. The Tomahawk connects with both the Stony Spur and Happy Wanderer Trails.

Did you know that since 2010 the Trestle Inn Food and Saloon has been donating $1 to the Clair Nelson Center in Finland, MN for every Train Wreck burger that they sell? So far they have donated $7,045! If you get a chance, head out to the Trestle and thank them. And while you are there you can get a Wreck for the Rec!
